It’s a holiday weekend here in the U.S., so let’s keep today’s question simple–What are you reading? Anything special? Any particularly juicy summer reading?

The most pressing ones are the Anita Blake vampire novels by Laurell K Hamilton....has anyone else read them. I have never read anything like this....I would use the word interesting.
  • I am halfway through StarDust by Neil Gaimon
  • I have Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon sitting on the nightstand
  • I have DragonHaven by Robin McKinley for this months book club (Which is already being reviewed Ack*
  • And finally I just received AustinLand by Shannon Hale that I can't wait to start....

I'm about half through Dragonhaven, I'm trying to read as fast as I can so I can join the discussions.

I hope you like Austenland, I loved it!

okay - I picked up Meg Cabot's Queen of Babble yesterday. My husband & I just finished Jennifer Crusie's Agnes & the Hitman (my 3rd time to read it, his first - hilarious by the way) We are also reading Jennifer Crusie's Don't Look Down (my 2nd time - his first). I also have Little Women(I read this EVERY summer), Dragonhaven, and the Court of Three Sisters in my queue. Of course I will begin reading the Twilight Saga for the 14th time around the 25th of this month in preparation for Breaking Dawn :)

Hi Rae - This is Julia from JDRobb yahoo group :)

I hope you like Drum of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon as much as I did. I'm still currently reading A Breath of Snow and Ashes. This will take me two weeks to finish --- it usually is when I'm reading Diana Gabaldon :) Hope you have a good day!
